1) Just a reminder that the Mid-Atlantic Region is hosting the ACPE National Conference at the Omni Hotel in Richmond on October 22-25. Registration is available to interested persons on the ACPE Website (http://www.acpe.edu). You will note that there is a considerable discount for individuals who register for both this conference and the Pastoral Care Collaborative in Orlando in February.
2) For those who would like to attend the Richmond event, but whose schedule/budget precludes full participation there are some volunteer opportunities still available. For each day that someone volunteers, he/she will be afforded a full day of educational events free of charge. Typically those days will be different. However, in selected cases, volunteers may volunteer and attend some educational events on the same day. Volunteer opportunity dates are October 18th through 25th.
For interest in volunteering or questions, please contact Lex Tartaglia (828-7247) or <aftartag@vcu.edu>
3) The Regional Planning Committee is still taking recommendations for book titles for the Bookstore Display at the National Meeting. If you have recommendations of proven resources for CPE or CPE Supervision, please email your suggestions to Lex at the address above.
