The Mid-Atlantic Region of The Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc.
The Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc embraces the commitment to advance clinical pastoral education (CPE) as experience-based theological education. ACPE enjoys national and international recognition as an educational organization for its work in setting standards, accrediting CPE centers and programs, and certifying supervisors in clinical pastoral education.
ACPE authorizes programs of clinical pastoral education based on demonstrated ability to meet ACPE Standards. ACPE accredits: (1) the centers that conduct CPE programs and (2) the programs – Level I/Level II CPE and Supervisory CPE – the centers may offer.
